Have you heard the song “This is The Stuff” by Francesca Battistelli? Well…that song describes my life for the last couple of days so as I sat down to write this post I am feeling frustrated and not very positive.
But…(There’s always a “but”, isn’t there?)
When I sit and approach this blog, I don’t usually want to share from the crazy, mixed up place inside my head without having a way to turn it into something positive by finding the lesson in it.
The truth is that right now I’m just disappointed about something and feeling frustrated with myself for not being able to let it go which is coming out in a hundred little tiny ways that just make me even more frustrated. (Did that make sense?)
Now some of you are probably scratching your heads and thinking, “What does all of this have to do with God-sized Dreams?”
It doesn’t. It is just my crazy mixed up way of letting you all know that today’s post is really short.
In fact, today’s post is an invitation.
As I mentioned on Monday, I think that it is time to become a little more intentional about my life and figuring out what I want to do when I’m no longer need to take care of my grandmother.
One of the ways that I am planning on doing this is through a couple of Bible studies and by rereading Holley Gerth’s book You’re Made for a God-Sized Dream, and I want to invite you to join me.
Many of you have probably already read the book and that’s okay. This will be my second time going through the book. The first time I read it for review, and this time I plan on reading it and going deeper through the exercises and journaling. I plan on sharing what God is revealing to me, and for the next few weeks as I go through the book, I will host a link-up for those of you who want to read along or those who have already read the book and just want to share what their God-Sized Dream is.
On Monday, I will share the reading schedule and host the first link-up. I will be reading chapters 1 & 2 for Monday.
Come and join me.
