It’s our final week of the gratitude challenge. On Friday I will have a free printable with the quotes and Bible verses as well as the activities and prompts for your journals. I hope that you all have not just enjoyed the challenge but that you are on your way towards living a life of gratitude.
”You simply will not be the same person 2 months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: The more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given you.”
–Sarah Ban Breathnach
Learning to live a life of gratitude is going to change you. As you learn to live a life of gratitude, you will start to recognize Who all things come from. You will gain a deeper appreciation for the world around you, and you will start to see things from a different perspective.
Gratitude will not simply be something that you feel, but something that you live. You will want to give more because you have so much. You will want to do more because you are able.
Living a life of gratitude will lead you to live a life of generosity and joy.
Living a life of gratitude turns what you have into enough and opens your eyes to what a truly abundant life is. It is learning to see things with awe and wonder again, to take delight in the simple things, and to learn that everything we have is a gift from the Creator.
You simply cannot live a life of gratitude and not be changed.
Find ways to appreciate the common today. Use all of your senses today to be present and appreciate what is around you.
How has living a life of gratitude challenged you? How has it changed you?
