The Single Life Returns

Last year I started a link party for Christian singles. I called it the Single Life. I started the link party because I wanted to connect with other single Christian bloggers and because I saw a need. There are hundreds of link parties for marriage, parenting, cooking, and DIY, but I have yet to come across one for single Christians so I decided to create my own.

Unfortunately, while it seemed to start strong, it never really took off. In October, I decided to put The Single Life link party on hiatus while I did a 31-days series. Then in November I decided to do Gratitude Challenge so I decided to continue the hiatus. Then in December I had computer problems and so much going on for the holidays that I was blogging sporadically anyway.

Now it’s the beginning of a new year and I have decided to bring back The Single Life. I want to give it another shot, and hopefully make it bigger and better.

And I want all of you to get involved with me. I want your voice to become a part of The Single Life. I’m looking for people to guest post or to do an interview with on The Single Life so if you are willing and able to guest post fill in the form below. I’m looking for your questions and your answers to how you are thriving as a Christian single, and I want to know what topics you want to read about and who you would like me to interview.  I’m also looking for other bloggers who would like to host The Single Life with me.

This year the focus on The Single Life is going to be living abundantly while single. I feel like I spent years wasting my singleness.  I was so focused on my desire to be married and to be a mother that I refused to see the opportunities that were right in front of me, but nothing is every truly wasted and The Single Life was born out of the desire to encourage young women to focus on their relationship with Christ and to live abundantly while they are single.

To that end, I’m introducing something new to The Single Life. Each week I will be sharing a tip or an idea to help you live more abundantly under the heading of “Singular Sensations.” (I’m still working on the heading. Any ideas?) These tips won’t be from just me, but from other single Christians as well. If you have a tip you would like to share, email me. You will receive full credit for it on the blog if I use it. If you are a blogger, share your website along with your tip and I will include a link back to you too.

I can’t wait for you to join me on this renewed adventure. Link up below and don’t forget to share.

  1. I want to join. I added a post I wrote yesterday, as I thought about the words from a sermon I listened to. If I am doing any of it wrong, hit me up. Thanks.

  2. I’m loving this link up. 🙂

  3. Wonderful idea. As a Christian single I think we should embrace our lives and uplift them to the glory of the Lord. We are free to serve the Lord in ways married Christians never could.

    1. Thank you, Mary!
